• The Turkic Khaganates, Uyghurs, China, and Turkic Kingdoms of Eastern Europe in the 7th Century

In the 7th century, the Turkic Khaganates were powerful confederations across Central Asia. Among these groups were the Uyghurs, a significant Turkic people who would later rise to establish their own Khaganate. The Uyghurs, along with other Turkic groups, played a vital role in the power dynamics of the time, interacting with the Tang Dynasty in China through alliances and conflicts. Meanwhile, Turkic kingdoms such as the Khazars and Bulgars expanded into Eastern Europe, creating lasting political and cultural legacies. This era marked the increasing influence of Turkic peoples across a vast region, shaping trade, warfare, and political landscapes from China to Europe.

  • The Gallipoli conflict was a military campaign in the First World War that took place on Gallipoli peninsula, from 19 February 1915 to 9 January 1916. The Entente powers, Britain, France and the Russian Empire, sought to fully dismantle Ottoman Caliphate by taking over its capital city of Istanbul (Constantinople). The Allied forces-comprised of mega industrial empires such as Britain and Russia-expected a rather swift victory against the war-torn Ottoman state which lacked the manpower and technology.

To the surprise of the Allied, Ottoman state gave a phenomenal resistance during the entire conflict which lasted a little over 10 months. It is a fact that Allied command underestimated the courage of Ottoman Islamic military which included Muslim troops from various races like Arabs, Turks, Kurds, Balkans etc. When faced with an existential crisis, the entire Ottoman citizens and troops became united under the Islamic Flag of the Khilafah and to defend their homeland from the infidels. We should all be aware of this reality since many dirty Kemalist propogandists disguised under the profession of historians are trying to portray Gallipoli only as a "Turkish" victory which is a huge myth. In fact, around 30% of the entire Ottoman military conscripts were Arab Muslims who served the Islamic state with endless bravery and fought with distinction at all the military fronts in WW1.

The Ottoman forces foiled multiple organised attempts of the Allied navy to infiltrate through the Dardanelles using amphibious landings. In the process Ottomans gave 56,643 thousand martyrs and over 90,000 troops wounded. The Allied forces suffered over 56,000 casualties as well which shows the scale and intensity of the warfare experienced in the whole conflict. We present our Salute to Ottoman Ghazis and the Shahuda (Martyrs) who sacrificed their future for the safety of the Muslim Ummah. May Jenab e Haqq Allah Azzawajal illumine their graves and May they be admitted into Jannah ul Firdous in the neighbourhood of the King of all the Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

The Ottoman victory at Gallipoli represents the collective victory of Islamdom over the infidels of the Allied group. We all should remember this glorious triumph as a point of unity and strength irrespective of modern nationalities since the Faithful have an ancient union

I would also like to pay special tribute to Mehmed Esad Pasha Hazretleri who was the main Ottoman Commander in Gallipoli war and the mastermind behind the brilliant defense strategy employed by the Ottoman military. It is a pity that the credit for Gallipoli victory is falsely given to Kemal Pasha (later Atatürk) when in reality he was simply a junior officer and had no role in formulation of strategy. This is also another form of ridiculous Kemalist rewriting of history which needs to be refuted.

The glorious Ottoman victory in Gallipoli sent shock waves around Europe and Britain. The British leadership was faced with a huge crisis as they had never imagined such a defeat. So, after a bitter clash Winston Churchill was finally demoted from the position of First Lord of the Admiralty. Following the failure of Gallipoli expedition, Sir Ian Hamilton, commander of the MEF, was recalled to London in October 1915, which ended his military career. Opposition from New Zealand and Australia grew strongly due to them receiving highest casualties in Gallipoli conflict and thus this episode also paved the way for independence of New Zealand and Australia from the British Empire.

Bayezid I (Reign: 1389-1402) was given the honorific title of Yildirim ( thunderbolt ) for the brilliant speed with which he mobilised his military to attack the enemies. The Sultan is credited for crushing a large scale European crusade in the Battle of Nicopolis (Niğbolu) in 1396. It was a stunning victory as the Ottomans defeated armies of around 20 European states which proves the military prowess of Bayezid 1.

For his heroic victory at Nicopolis, Sultan Bayezid Han was officially given the title of "Sultan" by the contemporary ceremonial Abassid Caliph residing in Mamluk Egypt.

The effect of the defeat of Nicopolis was so devastating for Christians that Chronicler Jean Froissart would declare : "Since the battle of Roncesvalles when all twelve peers of France were slain, Christianity received not so great a damage." [Source: Tuchman 561]

This victory stabilised the Ottoman state and discouraged the formation of future alliance of European states. [Source: Battle of Nicopolis". Encyclopædia Britannica. 2009]. Besides his military skills, Bayezid 1 was very pious Muslim who created a system of sending annual gifts for all the residents of Hejaz (Mecca and Medina) as a sign of his love for Muslim Ummah. [Source: Salih Gülen]

Unfortunately, Sultan Bayezid's image has been tarnished by certain fanatics who believe that Bayezid 1 was defeated at the battle of Ankara 1402 due to alcoholism (استغفراللہ). It is sad that such baseless lies are bought by the gullible people who lack ability to research. Firstly, the Islamic population of medieval Anatolia would never tolerate a drunkard as ruler. Secondly, if Bayezid had such vices then he wouldn't be able to crush a grand European alliance before.

The primary reason for the defeat at Ankara conflict was the betrayal of a major chunk of Bayezid's forces who defected to Amir Timur's camp in the midst of battle. Also, we must not forget that Bayezid 1 was busy besieging Constantinople when Timur invaded Eastern Anatolia; which is why Bayezid 1 didn't really have time to formulate a proper war strategy.

Certain blind admirers of Amir Timur present Bayezid 1 as the person who fueled the fire of war which is factually incorrect. Bayezid 1 was the sovereign ruler of Ottoman Sultanate who refused to bow to a fanatic like Amir Timur who had shed the pure blood of tens of thousands Muslims from India to Iran and to Middle East.
(shocking example of Timur's cruelty against innocent Muslim civilians in comments below)

The struggle of Bayezid Yildirim against Timur failed, but it serves us all a lesson that one should never fear defeat if one is on the right path. This is why Bayezid refused to escape the battlefield despite insistence of subordinates. He accepted the defeat but remained steadfast on all his high principles. May Allah elevate the the ranks of Bayezid Yildirim. Amin Ecmain

  • With Teknofest, the six-day mega technology event, underway until September 4 in the Black Sea province of Samsun, one man has captured headlines – and the imagination of a nation.

Selcuk Bayraktar, who dismisses comparisons to Elon Musk but prefers to follow the footsteps of legendary Muslim scientists like Aziz Sancar, Ismail al Jazari and Al Farghani, is comfortable waxing about the intricacies of UAV warfare as he interacts with throngs of his adoring fans, be they 70-year-olds or 7-year-olds.

Speaking to TRT World at the fifth Teknofest, the Baykar chairman and CTO described the showcase of Türkiye’s first unmanned fighter aircraft as a ‘dream’ twenty years in the making.

“That was our Kizilelma,” referring to the rigorous yet gratifying two-decade-long journey, one that sees Türkiye among only three countries in the world now capable of developing such advanced aerial technology.

At the 2019 Teknofest, Baykar showcased the Bayraktar Akinci, which is capable of conducting operations that are performed alongside combat jets.

Today, Bayraktar is synonymous with Turkish military prowess around the world, with exports making up over 80 percent of its revenue. It garnered global attention with its success in the Nagorno-Karabakh and other conflicts.

When discussing Teknofest, Bayraktar describes it as a “revolution” – in that it is an indication of how Türkiye is transforming “from a technology-consuming culture to a technology-developing nation.”

People brag so much about this small world!

So many warfare, power, world super power America, Russia, China and other countries are located at this tiny point.

Can you imagine the existence of the place where I'm sitting and commenting. How tiny we are!! But how big this world seems to us.

    Numerous planets, stars, galaxy,

niharikapunja etc all exist in the first

    sky!

Allah has created seven such skies in every level!

How great is my Allah who created all
creatures with one word and that is
"Kun" means "Be". Allah is the greatest
