According to Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency, the couple asked their guests to bring an orphaned child to the wedding instead of giving traditional jewelry gifts. With the support of guests and the İHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation’s Şanlıurfa branch, around 100 orphaned children attended the celebration. The couple said they were happy to share their special day with the children and hoped their decision would inspire other couples. ❤️ 📖 An Islamic reminder The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this,” and he held his index and middle fingers together.
