Far-right and anti-immigrant activist Rasmus Paludan burned the Muslim holy book during a rally against #Islam and the #Turkiye president in Sweden on Jan. 21. He did it again on Friday Jan. 27 in front of a #mosque in #Copenhagen and the Turkish Embassy in #Denmark.
#Paludan, who holds Swedish and Danish citizenships, vowed to continue the act every Friday until Sweden is admitted into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
Turkiye Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu called the events a “racist attack” and holds Sweden and Denmark responsible
