  • Viettel Headquarters, designed by Gensler in 2020, is Located in Hanoi’s new commercial center, Viettel’s one-of-a-kind HQ is Gensler’s first headquarters office building designed and completed in Vietnam. As the hub of Vietnam’s largest telecommunications company, this unique structure stands out from a uniform cityscape. This includes an 800-seat auditorium, which serves to provide a functional event space on the premises itself. The building is designed from the inside out. Floor plates customized to an ideal depth with a series of skylights bring natural light to all working areas and reduce the need for artificial lighting. The facility also utilizes natural barriers to combat Hanoi’s tropical climate and fosters an ecological habitat within the city. Despite an abundance of natural light, horizontal louvers are installed to screen the interior from solar glare and effectively reduce solar heat gain, resulting in a smaller heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) load. The aesthetically pleasing landscape design incorporated with native plants forms the iconic green roof, which also similarly reduces heat gain throughout the day. Users can also enjoy the break-out space at the landscaped terraced roof gardens on either side of the sloping roof. Other green features include a rainwater harvesting system.

  • Ortaköy Camii - Ortaköy Mosque

officially the Büyük Mecidiye Camii (Grand Imperial Mosque of Sultan Abdülmecid) in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Turkey, is situated at the waterside of the Ortaköy pier square, one of the most popular locations on the Bosphorus. This structure is symbolic of the district of Ortaköy as it has a distinctive view of the Bosphorus Strait of Istanbul and the Bosphorus Bridge. The mosque can be viewed from the Bosphorus Cruise that is famous among tourists, to go from the Asian side of Istanbul to the European side on a ferry boat.

    History
Located on the site of the present-day Ortaköy Mosque, there previously was a small masjid. Built in 1720, it was ruined during the Patrona Halil Uprising in 1731. The current mosque, which was erected in its place, was ordered by the Ottoman sultan Abdülmecid and built between 1854 and 1856, on the ruins of the Cantemir Palace. Its architects were Armenian father and son Garabet Amira Balyan and Nigoğayos Balyan (who also designed the nearby Dolmabahçe Palace and the Dolmabahçe Mosque), who designed it in the Neo-Baroque style.

The single dome of the mosque was originally built using bricks. However, the dome developed cracks throughout time and was ready to collapse, so a new dome was reconstructed using concrete. In 1894, there was an earthquake that damaged the mosque, and it also suffered a minor fire in 1984. Thus, the structure has undergone a number of repair and restoration work in its time. Today, it is in fair shape.

    Features
It consists of a two-story "sultan apartment" which has a "U shaped" plan, a main venue with a square plan which is covered with one dome. The "sliced facades" with mounting columns are "enriched" by carvings as well as relief, giving the mosque a "dynamic appearance". There are two rows of windows providing the main venue a "good illumination"

The mosque is "pint-sized" in comparison to other mosques "on the other side of the golden horn". The mosque was built in Neo-baroque style. In terms of the interior space, this mosque is modest in scale, though the inside is quite spacious with its wide, "high bay windows" which refract its reflection in water as well as daylight. Floral patterned frescoes adorn the inside of the singular dome, along with "niche-like" windows bordered by imitation curtains. Materials like marble were used to build the mihrab and minbar, pink mosaics were also used to decorate the Mihrab. The reconstructed dome was built from concrete, while stone was used to build the two, slim minarets.

There are also several panels of calligraphy executed by Abdülmecid I himself, as he was a calligrapher along with being a sultan.

  • The wait is over, this isn't a render, this is FINALLY the real 2024 Dodge Charger and it'll be on sale in just a few months! What's new? Well, everything. The HEMI is dead, the Hurricane is offshore, it's a 3-door!? The sedan and coupe will both be called Charger! Say what? AND, it's ENORMOUS! Let's dive into Dodge's announcement!

First up: as I kept telling you all, the Charger won't just be an EV, so let's start there first. The same 3.0L "Hurricane" twin-turbo inline-6 found in the RAM and Wagoneer will live under this hood wearing (I kid you not) SIXPACK badging. The Sixpack SO is good for 420 horsepower and should deliver performance better than the outgoing Hemi 392 while the Sixpack HO will crank out 550 horsepower and be the most powerful version of this engine so far. At this point, that's about all we know because the gasoline Charger won't be on sale until early 2025, but bet on AWD being an option... Also on sale in 2025? The 4-door Charger, so stay tuned for that one.

What's on sale soon? That'd be the 2-door... Er, I mean 3-door Charger you see here. Don't let that familiar profile fool you however, this is no re-skinned 2023. The coupe will ring in at an insane 206.6 inches long. That's almost a foot longer than the 2023 Challenger and *longer* than a BMW X7 3-row SUV. How big will the sedan be? I don't know, but I hope it's a boat. Seriously, I love big sedans.

Under the body we find a 442V, 100.5 kWh lithium ion pack powering twin electric motors rated at 250 kW each. The total output is software determined and will be 456, 496, 630, or 670 horsepower depending on the trim and options. That will allow for a 4.7 to 3.3 second 0-60 sprint, a 1/4 mile in as little as 11.5, and a top speed of 137 MPH. Charging seems intriguingly quick despite the less than flashy 183 kW peak rate. Dodge is saying a 10-80% charge will take just 30 minutes which puts this on par with a Tesla Model S Plaid's charge time.

Stopping will be handled by ENORMOUS 16.1 inch ventilated rotors front and rear with huge calipers and pads. (Remember, it's heavy thanks to that battery pack: nearly 5,900 lbs). Tires? Equally bonkers. The top trim will get 305/35R20s up front and 325/35R20s in the back *and* the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3
is anything but a low rolling resistance tire. The toll? Range. We don't have figures for the track pack model yet but the others will range from 317-260 miles depending on the tires you select.

The interior is, as you'd expect, much, much bigger than a Mustang. Legroom is more than many mid-sized SUVs and the cargo area us nearly 23 cubic feet. Dodge says the hatchback design will let you fit an extra set of wheels and tires in the back for track day.

The logo? That's new/old. Dodge used to call it a Fratzog (apparently its just a name they made up) but it dates back to the 1960s and 1970s. It seems that changing your logo every decade is a Dodge tradition. Sorry //, it was fun while it lasted.

How much will it cost? That's anyone's guess but expect the EVs to be expensive and the upcoming gas models to stick much closer to 2023 Challenger pricing. What do you think? Should they have changed the name?

  • 1970 Mustang Milano Concept — Ford has produced many Mustang concepts over the years….one of the most awesome one is the pretty purple 1970 Mustang Milano.

With its impossibly slim windows and NACA-ducted hood, the Mustang Milano screams muscle car to the point of caricature, if not originality. It is cool as hell, and it clearly informed the design of the upcoming 1971 Mustang with its fastback profile and Kammback tail treatment.

The Mustang Milano features a low, racy design and unique tailgate that raises electrically. At just 43 inches high it is seven inches lower than a standard 1971 Mustang SportsRoof. The hood contains NASA-type air scoops -- adapted from a highly efficient aeronautic design -- for power-producing ram-air induction. The headlamps and high-powered driving lights are concealed when not in use and the windshield is steeply ranked to a 67-degree angle. The uniquely-designed rear deck lid, complete with built-in air spoiler is similar to tailgates on some European station wagons. Hinged at the top, the deck lid and backlite open electrically just above the taillights to provide easy accessibility to the luggage compartment. Laced cast aluminum wheels are fitted with wide F60 x 15 tires were designed and built by Firestone especially for this show car.

Milano's ultra violet paint is color-keyed to the car's interior. The high-back bucket seats have blue-violet fabric inserts and light purple leather trim. Deep purple mohair carpet adds to the luxury look. The carpeted rear area of this two seater carries color-keyed luggage fabricated from the same leather used in the seat trim.

Back in 1970, Ford brought the Milano Mustang to the Chicago Auto Show to showcase the design that was to be featured in the upcoming production ’71 Ford Mustang. This new Mustang design featured just two seats and an almost horizontal fastback and according to Ford, this was the most “radical” Mustang seen up to that time.

Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said rescue teams were still searching for five people reported missing in three locations, after the flash floods turned streets in Adiyaman and Sanliurfa provinces into rivers, swept away cars, inundated homes and drenched campsites sheltering earthquake survivors.

At least 12 people were killed in Sanliurfa, including five Syrian nationals whose bodies were found inside a flooded basement apartment and two other people who died inside a van that was trapped at an underpass.

In Adiyaman, two people drowned after surging waters swept away a container home sheltering a family of earthquake survivors.
