Thousands of pairs of children's shoes were placed on Scheveningen Beach in The Hague on August 1 to commemorate children killed in Israel's attacks on Palestine's Gaza. The installation transformed part of the beach into a memorial, with the shoes symbolising the lives lost and highlighting the humanitarian impact of Israel's genocidal war. Participants gathered throughout the day to pay tribute to the victims and express solidarity with the Palestinian people.
