Artists at the Mosaic Arts Center in Türkiye’s Gaziantep have found a new use for expired food items.

Using around 40 food products native to the city, the team creates detailed mosaics to be displayed at the 4th International Gastronomy Festival (GastroAntep) later this month.

The laborious artworks draw attention to Gaziantep’s colourful range of flavours while complying with the festival’s theme of “sustainability and biodiversity.”
