Leaders from around the world have congratulated Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election in the country’s May 28 presidential runoff vote.

Erdogan has cemented his legacy as the Türkiye’s longest-serving leader by extending his rule for a third term after beating the opposition’s presidential candidate, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, securing 52.14 percent of the votes.
