Türkiye has become the European Amputee Football Champion for the third time in a row after beating Spain 3-0.
Rahmi Ozcan broke the deadlock in the 15th minute, Omer Guleryuz doubled the lead in the 28th minute and Fatih Senturk added one more in the 33rd minute in the championship final which took place on June 8 in Evian-les-Bains, eastern France.
Türkiye had previously won the European Amputee Football Championship in 2017 and 2021.
The national amputee football team had also played the 2018 Amputee Football World Cup final that was held in Mexico, but narrowly missed out to Angola.
Türkiye faced Angola again in the 2022 Amputee World Cup in Istanbul and won it for the first time, beating their rivals 4-1.
