A Turkish-Danish football fairy tale 🇩🇰🇹🇷⚽️🥅 In 2022, the Izmir based club Göztepe S.K. wrote Turkish football history as the first foreign-invested football club in Türkiye when sports investment company Sport Republic became majority owners of the club. Sport Republic co-owner Rasmus Ankersen – himself a former Danish football player – took over as president of Göztepe S.K. and can now celebrate leading the club to the Turkish Super League. Next year, Göztepe S.K. will celebrate their 100th anniversary in Türkiye’s best league. Dreams do come true! Congratulations Göztepe S.K. and Rasmus Ankersen.
